Sound familiar?

Marketing matters, but it keeps getting postponed

Most organizations know perfectly well what they could be telling people. There are new products, events, promotions, projects, stories and news. It is the doing that gets squeezed out by the day-to-day.

  • the newsletter has not gone out for two months;
  • the website has not been updated;
  • social media has been quiet for weeks;
  • an event is announced too late;
  • existing customer data is barely used;
  • marketing only happens when someone happens to have time;
  • results are barely measured;
  • the same information has to be recreated for every channel.

Managed Marketing is not primarily about more marketing. It is about marketing that actually gets done, month after month.

How it works

You supply the knowledge. We make sure it gets used, structurally.

01

You supply the content

A topic, the facts, a few photos and the reason behind it. No finished copy needed.

02

We turn it into communication

We edit, structure and adapt the content for the agreed channels.

03

We distribute it

Website, newsletter and the social channels we agreed on together.

04

Automation takes over the routine

Whatever goes the same way every time, we do not do by hand every time.

05

We measure what happens

Which content gets read, which email gets opened, what leads to action.

06

We improve the delivery

Small adjustments to content, timing and channels, based on what we see.

Example: a museum

You supply information and photos about a new exhibition. We turn that into a website post, newsletter content, publications for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, and the matching automated follow-up.

Example: a bakery

You send the information and photos for the Easter range. We process it for the website, the newsletter and the social channels that matter to your customers.

You do not have to start from scratch for every channel.

Terms

What do we mean by a content moment?

A content moment is one topic or occasion you communicate about.

  • a new exhibition;
  • a new product;
  • an event;
  • a promotion;
  • company news;
  • an in-depth story;
  • a seasonal campaign;
  • a change in your services.

We process such a content moment for several agreed channels. A new exhibition can therefore be one content moment, and we use the information you supplied for your website, your newsletter and your social media.

A content moment can only be delivered when you supply enough substance. Without a topic and facts there is nothing to build.

Automation and people

Automation provides the rhythm. People safeguard content and quality.

What we automate

  • automated welcome communication after sign-up;
  • event confirmations and reminders;
  • follow-up communication;
  • segmentation of mailing lists;
  • scheduled newsletters and campaigns;
  • reactivating contacts where that fits;
  • collecting marketing data automatically;
  • recurring reporting.

Whatever happens the same way every time, we try not to redo by hand every time. Not everything gets automated, and that is not the goal either.

What people do

  • planning;
  • reviewing your input;
  • editing;
  • adjusting texts;
  • adapting content per channel;
  • checking before publishing;
  • handling exceptions;
  • interpreting results;
  • deciding what can be improved.

Automation frees up human attention for content, checks and improvement.

Managed Marketing is not an unlimited full-service agency. We can arrange some of this work as a separate project or through a specialist or partner.

Channels

Social media is one channel. Your website, your email and your own customer data matter at least as much.

Website

We post news, publish activities, adjust texts, replace images, prepare campaign content and bring existing pages up to date.

New functionality, a redesign or major technical changes are project work and are not part of regular Managed Marketing.

Email and automation

Email is a channel you own yourself. Think of newsletters, targeted mailings, welcome communication, reminders, follow-up, segmentation and recurring automated communication.

Your own contact base often returns more than adding yet another channel.

Social media

We adapt content, schedule it and publish via the agreed channels.

Community management is not included by default. Comments, direct messages, complaints and customer service stay with you, unless we agree otherwise.

Analytics and optimization

Depending on your organization we look at website visits, traffic sources, popular content, clicks, newsletter performance, forms, sign-ups, reservations, orders, downloads and other relevant conversions.

Not everything that can be measured matters. We mainly look at numbers that say something about what your visitors and customers actually do. More extensive analysis and optimization belong to the higher packages.

Implementation

Set it up properly first. Then run it structurally.

Managed Marketing works best when the underlying environment is in good shape. At the start we therefore assess your website, email marketing, mailing lists, forms, segmentation, analytics, social publishing, existing automations, templates and content workflow, among other things.

Where needed we first carry out a separate Marketing Implementation. Possible work:

  • setting up email marketing;
  • setting up analytics;
  • connecting forms;
  • migrating mailing data;
  • setting up segmentation;
  • building templates;
  • setting up social publishing;
  • building marketing automation;
  • setting up dashboards.

If your existing environment is already suitable, it does not have to be set up again.

Marketing Implementation is quoted separately, after a short assessment.

Working together

We know marketing and the systems. You know your organization.

Managed Marketing only works well when you supply substance. That does not mean you have to write the copy yourself.

Where relevant, you supply:

  • topics;
  • expertise;
  • facts;
  • product information;
  • activities;
  • news;
  • dates and prices;
  • photos and other available source material;
  • timely feedback and approval.

We then take care of the processing and the delivery: planning, editing, publishing, automating, measuring and improving. You decide on your brand, your positioning and your commercial choices.

You do not have to deliver finished copy.

We do need the raw substance to build good communication from. Tell us what it is about and what the facts are, and we take it from there.

Is it a fit for you?

When Managed Marketing makes sense

Managed Marketing can be worthwhile when

  • marketing keeps getting postponed;
  • newsletters go out irregularly;
  • website content is getting stale;
  • the same information is recreated for every channel;
  • you want to get more out of email marketing;
  • marketing automation is barely used;
  • you have plenty of topics and expertise, but too little delivery;
  • you do not want to hire a marketing employee of your own;
  • you want more structure and predictability;
  • you want to know which communication is actually being used.

Probably less of a fit when

  • you have hardly anything to communicate;
  • you cannot supply any substance;
  • you are mainly looking for professional photography or video;
  • you are looking for a branding agency;
  • you mainly want advertising campaigns managed;
  • you are looking for someone to take over sales or customer service;
  • you expect guaranteed leads or revenue.

The difference

Why not a regular marketing agency?

A traditional marketing agency can be an excellent fit. Certainly when you need a campaign, a branding project, a video production or another specialist creative assignment.

Managed Marketing has a different purpose. We focus on the recurring operational marketing cycle: planning, processing, publishing, automating, measuring and improving.

Do you mainly need a new visual identity, a campaign concept or professional video production? Then a specialist agency is the better choice.

Do you mainly want your existing marketing channels used well every month instead of stalling? Then Managed Marketing is the better fit.

Good to know

Clear expectations

No guaranteed results

We can deliver professional execution, structure, monitoring and optimization. We do not guarantee a number of leads, a number of customers, revenue, reach, followers, search rankings, conversion rate or ROAS.

Marketing results also depend on your offering, your price, the market, the competition, your reputation, the season, commercial follow-up and other factors outside our control.

Media budget and external production

The subscription prices exclude advertising budget, paid media, photography, video production, print, paid placements and external creative production costs.

We only incur such costs once we have agreed on them.

Why Digikwal

Fixed monthly fee, clear scope

You know what you are buying and what is not included. No bundle of hours and no surprises afterwards.

A steady marketing cadence

The cycle is planned and keeps going, even in a busy month.

Setup and delivery from one partner

We set up the environment and then do the work. No handover between parties.

Good content used more than once

One content moment becomes usable for your website, your newsletter and your social channels.

Automation where it works, people where it matters

Rhythm from automation, content and quality from human oversight.

Website, email, automation, social and analytics as one process

Not five separate things that know nothing about each other.

Built for small organizations

Our packages are built for organizations of roughly 1 to 25 employees.

Room to grow when you need it

Start with Essentials and move up when there is more to communicate.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about Managed Marketing

What is Managed Marketing?

We carry out your recurring marketing: planning, turning your input into communication, publishing on the agreed channels, managing automated communication, measuring and improving. You buy a fixed service level with an agreed cadence.

What is the difference with a marketing agency?

An agency is often strong in campaigns, branding and creative production. We focus on the monthly delivery, so that website, newsletter, social and automation keep running.

What do you mean by a content moment?

One topic or occasion you communicate about: an exhibition, a product, an event or a promotion. We process that single topic for several agreed channels. The condition is that you supply enough substance.

Do I have to write the copy myself?

No. You do not have to deliver finished copy. We do need the raw substance: what it is about, what the occasion is and what the facts are.

What do I have to supply?

Topics, expertise, facts, product information, activities, news, dates and prices, available images, and timely feedback or approval where that is agreed.

Which social channels can you manage?

The channels we agree on in advance and where publishing is technically possible, for example LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. With Essentials that is up to 2 channels.

Do you also reply to comments and direct messages?

Not by default. Comments, direct messages, complaints and customer service stay with you, unless we agree otherwise.

Do you also make photos and videos?

Not by default. We work with the images you supply and with existing templates. We can arrange professional photography and video production as a separate project or through a specialist.

Do you also run advertising?

Managing advertising campaigns is not part of Managed Marketing by default, and advertising budget is never included. If you want to advertise, we agree on that separately.

What happens if I supply no content for a month?

Then we can publish less that month. Capacity is reserved per month and cannot be saved up indefinitely. Small shifts between weeks are fine; if input stays absent structurally, we will raise it with you.

Do you use AI for content?

Where it fits we use automation and AI as a tool to produce efficiently. The agreed human oversight and the quality remain our responsibility. Whatever goes out on your behalf has been reviewed by people.

Do I have to use Odoo?

Not necessarily. We work a lot with systems we know well, but you are buying a managed marketing operation, not software. During the introductory meeting we look at whether your current environment is workable.

What does Marketing Implementation cost?

That depends on the state of your current environment, the data that has to come along and the integrations that are needed. We quote it separately after a short assessment. If your environment is already suitable, it stays limited.

Why are the prices "from" prices?

Because the work depends on the number of content moments, the number of channels, the amount of website work, the complexity of your automation, your reporting needs and the quality of the input supplied. The amounts shown apply at normal complexity.

Can I switch to a different package later?

Yes. Many organizations start with Essentials and switch when there is more to communicate or more channels become active.

Can you guarantee that I will get more customers?

No. We can control the delivery, the structure and the measurement. Whether that leads to more customers also depends on your offering, your price, the market, the competition, your reputation, the season and commercial follow-up.

Marketing that no longer gets postponed?

We look at what you do today, which channels matter for your organization and how much work is needed each month. Then we determine which service level fits.

If it turns out Managed Marketing is not a fit for your organization, we will say so.
