EU & security

Many business owners know that data and security are important,
but have little visibility into where systems run, who can access them, and what exactly happens.

That is why Digikwal chooses IT that remains verifiable and under control.

Not as an additional promise, but as a guiding principle in how we design and manage systems.

IT within the EU, under our own control

Our IT environments run on infrastructure within the European Union.
We host systems in Germany, Finland, France, the Netherlands, and other EU countries, and manage them ourselves.
This means:
  • Data remains within the EU

  • We are not dependent on external platforms

  • Visibility and control remain part of the collaboration

We deliberately avoid solutions where we have no control over configuration, access, or data flows.

Using software from outside the EU

Sometimes software from a non-European supplier is practical or preferred.
We only use it if we can retain control.

We therefore use such software only when:
  • It runs on our own EU infrastructure
  • Its operation is transparent and verifiable
  • No mandatory external data processing takes place
If that is not possible, we do not use the software.

This keeps it clear where data is located and who is responsible for what.

Anonymised signals from our own EU infrastructure.

Abuse blocked

Abuse is blocked automatically.

Work continues

Security does not get in the way.

Access under control

Only those who need access can gain access.

Security without extra hassle

Security at Digikwal is not about constantly adding new measures or ticking boxes. It is embedded in how systems are logically configured and used in daily operations.

This allows normal work to continue,
while anomalies and abuse are handled in the background.
Detected early

Anomalies are detected early.

No excessive blocking

No blunt filters that lock everything down.

Transparent changes

A clear record of what changed and when.

A stable foundation

Security does not come from isolated measures or additional tools, but from the way IT is clearly structured and used.

Clear decisions and systems that work together logically reduce uncertainty and friction when changes occur.

This allows IT to operate quietly in the background without security constantly demanding attention or intervention.
Control over costs

No unnecessary subscriptions or lock-in.

Open IT

You know what is running and where your data is stored.
